About the role

As an Office Manager at Planture, you will be given the opportunity to look after our team at the Office HQ near the Amstel River in Amsterdam. You will be in charge of making sure our team members enjoy their time in the office, by making the office a smooth-run, warm and welcoming environment. Your responsibility-package is therefore varied and truly what you make of it. Do you have an interest in HR and/or recruitment as well? Even more wonderful. As we are such a growing company, it is always a benefit if you have multiple talents and would like to grow them all.
We are looking for someone who can be at the office for some hours every day, totalling to about 20-28 hours per week.

Main responsibilities

  • Ordering of all office supplies, lunch, birthday presents,‘Vrijmibo’ supplies etc
  • Welcome and look after any visiting partners/clients
  • Light administrative tasks
  • HR-responsibilities: regular 1-1 meetings with all colleagues, developing job descriptions, developing documents/structure for regular performance reviews of staff, keeping note of holiday days, etc.
  • Looking after & keeping up to date the Planture website.
  • Together with technical commercial officer writing Blogs about what we do and our R&D for the website
  • Organizing Company/team events
  • Organizing Planture sportive team activities
  • Assisting with recruitment
  • Onboarding new colleagues
  • Booking business trips for our colleagues
  • Available around 20-28 hours, spread over 4-5 days (in consultation)
  • Many more!

Requirements

  • Outgoing, open, warm personality
  • MBO/HBO education
  • Previous experience with office management/executive assistance/HR
  • Self-steering, responsible individuals
  • Fluent in English and preferably also Dutch, any other language also beneficial
  • Hands-on and proactive
  • Enjoy dynamic work environments
  • Attention to detail and not afraid to speak your mind
  • You like to take care of people
